Order forms available at various community locations such as NWHU and Safeway

Order and pay for box by first Fri of month at Dryden Safeway (75 Whyte Ave) Customer Service Desk
Pick up on third Fri of month at Dryden Volunteer Recruitment & Referral Centre (53 Arthur St) between 12 noon-6 pm
Must sign in to confirm that order is picked up
Request people bring their own shopping bag, box or tote

NOTE: Orders not picked up by 6 pm will be donated

Description of Services:

Administers a community-based food purchasing system that makes fresh fruits and vegetables available to community members

Charges a small fee each month from participants in exchange for a large box of fresh fruits and vegetables which also includes either a rice or pasta, sauce and a canned vegetable

Includes a newsletter outlining upcoming dates, all items in the Food Box and a recipe using items from the box

Provides a Meat/Dairy box draw twice a year with individuals completing program survey to enter draw

Partners with the Dryden Food Access Committee and Dryden Safeway

Receives additional support from Dryden Native Friendship Centre, Dryden Volunteer Recruitment & Referral Centre and Community Living-Dryden/Sioux Lookout
