Description of Services:

On-site outpatient rehabilitation and wellness clinic * multiple services including acupuncture, chiropody, hydrotherapy, kinesiology, massage, physiotherapy, occupational therapy

  • Aquafit (Progression) Warm-pool therapy and aquafit classes for people with conditions that limit their mobility and function, such as arthritis and chronic pain * pool heated to a constant temperature of 34°

  • Kinesiology The study of human movement * focus on how the body functions and moves

  • Massage Therapy (Progression) Hospital-based outpatient massage therapy clinic * treats soft tissue discomfort and occupational stress, muscular over use, injuries, and chronic pain

  • Motor Vehicle Accident Treatment Program (Progression) Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation program for people who have been affected by motor vehicle accidents * services include:

  • Outpatient Rehab Assessment and treatment for people with foot-related conditions * chiropodists fabricate custom foot orthotics and shoes to help alleviate clients' pain and discomfort
  •  
  • Physiotherapy (Progression) Hospital-based outpatient physiotherapy program * physiotherapists assess, diagnose, and treat injury and disability symptoms
  •  
  • Psychological Services Clinical psychologists assess and treat psychological distress, disability and health-risk behavior * treat emotional responses to injury, impairment and disability
  •  
  • Return to Work Program (Progression) Programs and services to help workers return to work and restore the highest level of post-injury mobility possible

  • Speech Language Pathology Provide assessment and treatment for individuals with communication and swallowing disorders

  • Work Related Injuries Provide treatment for individuals with common work-related injuries such as:
    • carpal tunnel syndrome
    • sciatic pain
    • falls
    • back injury/pulled or strained muscles
    • leg sprains, strains, or muscle tears
    • overexertion
    • shoulder pain or frozen shoulder
    • soft tissues injuries including the neck, shoulder, elbow, hand, and wrist
